Sweet Feet

Gen has recently discovered her feet.

This is Gen's friend at daycare. They love to hold hands. You put one down and there other instantly grabs the others hand. Also when they go for walks in the stroller buggy they hold hands there too. Just too cute! It's so hard to leave her when they are like this.

I didn't take any pictures of Thanksgiving or our Rock Band Party. Bummer for me. We had a great time at both events. For Thanksgiving we watched Wall-E, had a wonderful meal and enjoyed pie. We were so thankful to have Jennifer and Eric join us this year as they usually boycott Thanksgiving . At the Rock Band party I was too busy to take pictures. At 4:15 I had to take Genevieve in to get a round of immunizations but unfortunately they didn't have the HiB vaccine due to a shortage. Now I have to track down a mobile unit to get this vaccine. At any rate our house was full of kids at the Rock Band Party and it was a lot of fun, busy, but fun. I told Janelle, I guess this means we truly are parents now, when you have a party and there are just as many kids as adults.

The tree is up and we are ready to rock.

Still not convinced I love the hair but it's growing on me (wow I made a funny, it's growing on me LOL). (Okay another wow, I'm such a dork.)

Genevieve is getting in the Holiday Spirit

OK She is probably thinking why are they putting this silly hat on me.
But it's sooooo cute!
So I was able to convince Chad to put the tree up early this year. The deal was, we can have a rock band party the day after Thanksgiving if we can get the tree up before then because I wanted to put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving. Think the tree is big enough?

We collect ornaments every year. This is the one that started it all. Chad's parents got this one for us. It's hard to read but it says, "Our First Christmas Together 2004".
These are the ornaments from 2005, the year we got married.
2006, we took piano lessons that year.
2007, we went to Florida and saw wild manatees!
This is one of Chad's favorites, especially since he was able to renew his helicopter's license.

Well it seems as though Genevieve's fussiness has passed. Who knows what caused it. She's back to her happy self now. Here are some pics from our recent visit to Grammy and Poppi's.

Calling all moms.

OK I'm open to suggestions. We are trying to figure out what is causing Genevieve's fussiness. I got a call from Daycare on Thursday saying they couldn't put her down and she was fussy all afternoon. I took her to the doctor and they said everything seemed good. We have noticed that it seems to be in the afternoon when she tries to eat. She keeps going back and forth from wanting her pacifier and wanting the bottle. She is eating about half of what she normally eats. We have started up her thrush medicine again. We have started her on a Gentle Ease formula. We are tracking when she eats, sleeps, has diaper changes and is fussy so we can try to figure out what is going on. It doesn't seem like she is teething yet, but it could be that. It could be a great combination of Thrush, gassiness, and teething. Any thoughts? We are trying anything that might help. Thanks :)
