Christmas Morning

We took a lot of cheesy photos Christmas morning because we couldn't be with the family because we thought Gen might have whooping cough. We took a picture of every single present we opened. I have decided not to post every single picture we took (there was over 100).

All in all we have a very calm, restful Christmas. It is not the Christmas we would have chosen, but we definitely made the best of it. Thankfully a few days later we discovered that Genevieve did not having Whooping Cough after all. Better safe than sorry. Genevieve will have many more family filled Christmas' to come. At least this happened when she was young enough to not know any different.

December 24th we had Genevieve's 6 month check up. We mentioned Genevieve has had this on going cough. The doctor was concerned it might be Whooping Cough. We had to go to a lab to get this tested. My older sister, Jennifer and my sister in law, Sarah are both pregnant. They were both told by their OB-GYN's to not be around Genevieve. My little sisters' son has had chronic upper respiratory problems. So she wasn't to be around us either. As such we were quarantined for Christmas.

I left the room for a second and Genevieve had rolled over, scooted to this basket of toys and knocked it over to get the toys :)

We are in the midst of a Winter Storm. I can't believe how much snow we have gotten. It really makes Christmas shopping difficult.
