New Pics

OK it has been some time since I have posted new pics so here they are.
Gen still loves her Rocking Chair.

She would much rather sit and face you than be held.

This way she can see everything that is going on.

We went to the fair. Gen posing. Chad got this quilt for being a demo dad at daddy boot camp. They always have a dad come with his new baby to demonstrate answer any questions for the new dads and to give the new dad's a chance to hold a baby.
She is getting so strong!!

This Sweet Peace swing is still not her favorite but she loves the frog toy.
Thanks Grandma Willwerth.

She will only stay happy in the swing for about ten minutes.
We rocked out with TJ when we babysat him.
Rock Star in training.

Uncle Chad will show you how it's done.

Genevieve got her first cold. Monday she was really fussy. Didn't want to eat but then it was obvious she was hungry. Kept jolting awake at naps. Chad took her to the doctor on Tuesday. Apparently she had thrush and was congested too! Poor baby no wonder she didn't want to eat or sleep. She is feeling much better now.

Gen's new bumbo. She looks like such a big girl in it!

Yes, we are still advocates for the sling from time to time.

Genevieve is really getting into looking at herself in mirrors. She really loves standing on the counter in the bathroom and watching herself in that mirror. I'll have to get a picture of this.

Janelle wanted me to take some pictures of the nursery. Here is the quilt.

The crib, mobile and stuffed animals.

The picture poppi (my dad) painted.

Changing table. Eventually we will have two more pictures from poppi

and Genevieve's name on the wall here.

Glider and Window.

Name that will go on the wall.

My belief is that if you aren't going to use something, you shouldn't have it. It's a waste of space and money. If a kid isn't going to play with a toy and it's just going to become clutter, don't bother buying it in the first place. it's really th eonly way to keep from getting clutter in the first place.
